NO Hormones, NO antibiotics-- Healthy, Locally raised, Quality Lamb

Each August/September we sell our extra lambs.  Romney is an excellent eating lamb.  The taste is an incredibly mild, delicate flavor.  Even if you've never tried lamb before, (my sister-in-law Sue is an excellent cook and suggests cooking methods similar to pork) please give a Romney lamb a try.   I personally like to marinate lamb chops in garlic and rosemary and fry or BBQ with olive oil.  And nothing warms up a Fall dinner like lamb stew!  My new taste favorite is cilantro with lamb- excellent!

Reserve your lamb NOW!  If you would like to purchase a 2008 locker lamb, please e-mail us with your name and phone number.  You can reserve a locker lamb with a $60 deposit.  Lambs are limited, when they're gone, you'll have to wait until next year.

Lambs are sold by live weight  @ $1.50/ pound (approximately $140-$195 per lamb) if you pick the lamb up from the farm.  (For those with religious restrictions, our male lambs are intact.  Only tails have been docked and one ear tagged.)

If you prefer, the lambs can be slaughtered for you at the local butcher, then the selling price for the 2007 lambs was $4.00/pound based on the hanging weight.  (The 2008 price has not yet been set, it may have to be adjusted for increasing feed costs)  The price includes delivery to the butcher, butchering, cut/wrap and delivery to your door (local orders only).  Arrangements can be made for orders from out of the local area, but plan to travel to the Castle Rock/Longview/Kelso Washington area for final product pick-up.

Thank you for supporting your local farmers.
